System Parameters

System parameters refer to a precise system setting. It includes a set of parameters with a default value.

The administrator role has the permission to modify this value. The system defines a value for each parameter and is applied wherever the numeric value is needed.  If the task exceeds the defined value, then an action will be triggered automatically.  

For example: DEBTOR_MATCH_PCT system parameter When a file is uploaded and meet or exceed the defined % a notification will be triggered.

The defined system parameters are as follows:

   Note  By default, the AFFILIATE_LENDER_REQUIRED is selected as No.

The value can be set for each parameters after clicking the in   Value  field. Once the user selects the value from  Value  dropdown field, the system saves the record and displays the success message as   Record Saved successfully .

Create a Record

To create a new record, perform these steps:

1. Go to the required page using the navigation. For example, to create a new sales region, you need to go to Administration → General Codes → Country Codes.

2.  Click Add button. A Dialog box for creating a record appears.

3. In the fields, enter the field values as required. For example, enter the currency, description, and decimal precision value.

4. Click Save and new button. The records is saved and created.

5. Click Cancel button to cancel the record creation.

Edit a Record

To edit a record, perform these steps:

1. Go to the required page using the navigation. For example, to edit a currency code, you need to go to Administration → General Codes → Currency Codes.

2. Select the record which you want to edit.

3. Click Edit a record. The edit dialog box for the record appears. The edit icon is highlighted only when you select a record.

4. Edit fields as required.

5. Click Save Button to edit and save the record.

6. Click Cancel Button to cancel the editing.

Delete a Record

To delete a record, perform these steps:

1. Go to the required page using the navigation. For example, to delete sales region, you need to go to Administration → General Codes → Currency Codes.

2. Select one/more/or all records.

3. Click Delete button.  A confirmation message appears.

4. Click Yes button to delete the record. The record is deleted and a message  "Record deleted successfully appears.

5. Click No button to cancel the deletion.

 

Note

You cannot delete a system defined record. A message  "System defined exception cannot be deleted. appears if you attempt to delete a system defined data.
